Quite recently I really liked a ceramic pumpkin at TK Maxx which had an intricate pattern and looked considerably classy - just the price wasn’t all that exciting. So I bought a 1 € papier-mâché pumpkin at the Euroshop instead, painted it white and added a stencil of my choice. (I bought a British stencil book a while back in the Thrift Store… :)
The final layer was a clear coating and my new, white - and kind of classy looking pumpkin was ready to be part of the Halloween decorations.
Vor einiger Zeit gefiel mir ein weißer Keramikkürbis bei TK Maxx, der ein interessantes Muster aufwies und - für Halloween Deko - durchaus Stil hatte. Nur der Preis war nicht ganz so aufregend.
Also kaufte ich mir stattdessen einen 1 € Pappmaché-Kürbis aus dem Euroshop, bemalte ihn zuerst in Weiß und danach mit einer Schablone meiner Wahl schwarz. (Ich hatte vor einiger Zeit ein britisches Schablonenbuch gekauft, jetzt wusste ich wofür :)
Zur besseren Haltbarkeit wurde mein Kürbis danach noch einmal klarlackiert und seitdem ist der Kürbis - mit Stil ^^ - Teil meiner Halloween Dekoration im Haus.
